How to identify your BBS RC or RSII model
November 17, 2025 · by J0sh

BBS released a wide range of configurations for the RC and RSII models, which included different diameters, widths, offsets (ET), and bolt patterns to suit many body types and manufacturers.
Since these wheels have been out of production for many years, they quickly turned into hard-to-find items, and the same happened with their center caps. As there were so many versions of the RC and RSII, BBS produced specific center caps for each option. As multi-component accessories, every piece has its own part number. However, things get complicated when you discover that certain components are interchangeable and share the same reference across different center cap variants. This only adds more confusion and complexity when trying to source replacements.
The safest way to confirm compatibility is by identifying the exact wheel model number and, of course, measuring the threaded bore on the wheel hub or the thread on the center cap (assuming still have one).
To find out the specific BBS RC or RSII version fitted to your car, simply remove the center cap nut to lift the cover hiding the bolts that attach the wheel to the hub. The wheel’s reference number, along with key details like width and offset, can be found in this area.

At J0sh911, we offer sets of custom center caps for these two models, which simplify the setup by eliminating the cover plate and restoring a sporty look to the design. We have refined the concept over the years to achieve a perfect fit, with no tools or adhesives required.
Currently available in the 72mm threaded version, typical of BMW variants. The smaller-diameter version, commonly used on Audi and Volkswagen BBS RC/RS II, will be available again soon.

If you already know the specific model of your BBS RC/RSII wheels, you can check their compatibility with the list included in the item description. All you’ll need to do is choose the color combination for the emblem, and we’ll get to work creating your custom set:
